In order to reach your personal health and fitness goals, the Thibodaux Regional Fitness Center offers a variety of personal training options. You can exercise one-on-one or in pairs with a certified personal trainer.
What makes our personal trainers unique is all of our fitness professionals have a four-year degree in exercise science, so you know you are getting proper advice. They will customize your workouts using various strategies to ensure safe and effective progress. You will receive both instruction & encouragement from your trainer to help you reach your goals.
March Fitness Pro of the Month: Matthew Guidry, CPT
Matthew received both his Bachelors of Science and Masters of Science Degrees from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. He became a certified personal trainer through the American College of Sports Medicine because he loves educating others on the importance of living a healthy lifestyle!
When asked about how he motivates his clients Matthew said, “I will motivate my clients by having them set goals. The goal could be as big as losing 20lbs in 3 months’ time or as small as 5lbs in 3 months’ time. In addition, once they reach that goal, set a new one. Setting goals will help keep you on the right track and gives you something to strive to attain.”
